아수스에서 BCLK 올리는 방법에 대한 팁.

ok here's my own theory about the bclck 

well first i just thought about what Kev told me about the classified, and also Raja, there's not always need too much voltage for high overclock, specially with i7 sillicon, i mean there are a lot of i7s that won't even accept past 1,45v yet they scale very very good (ofc i'm talking about D0 rev)

Raja and Kevin told me the classified does not need much of vtt for high bclck, don't get me wrong, it's not like i just applied the same settings for both, cause that won't work, they are different boards and the classified nf200 works way different from the rest of the boards

with my R2E and the 965 i always "needed" QPI set at least @ 1.55 or even 1.60v to crank 200 bclck, this is not always needed anymore

first i set the QPI to 1.4 and IOH to 1.3 , with classified thhese are the settings you have to play with once you're in windows with eleet app, it's all down to those 3 settings, vcore, vtt and ioh voltage

so QPI 1.4, IOH 1.3 , vcore 1.45v and i set under bios 200 bclck, all this always with PCI freq up to 115

first when i did like this, i wasn't able to have it stable even at 215 bclck, here is what my theory is all about

think about classified has the option of manually set the strap under bios, if you set manually 1600 strap, then you'll be able to hit high bclcks, Asus boards ain't have these settings in their bios setup, so i figured out strap would be set automatically and was triggering at some point when you set 200 FSB under bios and try to raise it up once you are in windows, so the solution was to set 220 bclck under bios and go, it booted flawlessy and i was able to hit 225 bclck, then once again it frezzed trying for 226

reboot, and set under bios 230, i guess this way the board would relaxk the strap timing, hence let me raise the bclck even more, so it was, booted fine, and the rest you can see the scores so far  

i tried for more QPI/IOH voltages, it was worst, so far i found the sweet spot with these @ 1.45v / 1.3 under bios

for CPU clock amplitude, i found 1000mv to be the best aswell, the rest i let them @ auto, now i think it's all up to raise a little bit up to 1.52v or so to crnak the 240 bclck bencheable, so i think it's the CPU itself which is "holding me back"
